Timberstar brings together Exporters of softwood and hardwood Plywood from Asia, Africa, Europe and North-South America with Importers, Merchants and Consumers of timber in Europe.
As is known, plywood sheets are the highest quality among all industrial wood sheets, and this is due to their exceptional properties such as high resistance to impact, bending, and tension, low weight compared to other industrial sheets, moisture resistance, variety of grades depending on their use, and others. Plywood sheets are divided into two categories, those intended for furniture making and those intended for construction use.
In detail, we offer:
Furniture Grade Plywood
Usually made from hardwoods with interior or exterior use adhesive of class E1 and very good interior quality (absence of gabs, holes, and overlays of veneer).
The surfaces can include wood types such as Birch, Oak, Eucalyptus, various tropical woods, etc.
The surface qualities range from A to CC, and their thickness varies from 3 to 30 millimetres.
Construction Grade Plywood
Typically constructed from softwoods (Pine, Spruce, Fir, etc.) using phenolic adhesives of class E1 for high resistance to outdoor conditions. The surfaces can be veneered or covered with phenolic film or a 0.5mm plastic coating.
These plywood sheets are used in construction works such as formwork, flooring, roofing, masonry, fencing, etc.
